EENO

EENO, derived from EENOLEM EVOL I, is a dynamic figure in the realm of music, excelling as a producer, musician, and rapper, with an additional flair for holding a note or two when the occasion calls. Born in the vibrant city of Detroit, MI, EENO’s musical journey commenced in the 3rd grade when he picked up the trumpet, a passion that resonated with him until his senior year in high school in Lawndale, CA.

During high school, EENO found himself immersed in ciphers, showcasing his lyrical prowess not only within the school premises but also in the iconic Los Angeles area of Leimert Park, a renowned hub where some of the world’s best MCs honed their skills. Transitioning from his trumpet days, EENO delved deeper into music production. However, faced with financial constraints, he improvised by crafting beats on gaming consoles like PlayStation and the first Xbox.

As circumstances improved, EENO acquired proper production equipment and became a part of the group TKFS (Too Kool For School). Their sound, often compared to A Tribe Called Quest with a distinct West Coast swing, reflected the eclectic influences within the group. Unfortunately, the TKFS project was shelved as the group disbanded. Nevertheless, elements of that collaboration found a new home in EENO’s project “EENOGY,” his first full vocal endeavor, released in February 2023.

EENO boasts two beat albums from 2021, namely “Two E’s One N and One O” and “Lamonts Pops,” showcasing his versatility and creative range. Presently, EENO is an integral part of the MEGA TEAM “BLACK TRANSIT,” a collective comprising artists, producers, DJs, singers, and rappers. This collaborative effort represents a diverse and innovative force in the music landscape, with EENO playing a vital role in shaping its unique sonic identity. As his journey continues, EENO stands as a testament to resilience, creativity, and the transformative power of music.
